Peter Tory, former William Hickey editor and leader of the historic – and successful – Daily Express expedition to find Basingstoke, has died after a long battle against cancer. He was 73.
Former colleague Arnie Wilson said Peter 'had a way with words that few others could emulate'.
A memorial service was held at St Bride's Church, Fleet Street, London, on April 18th at 11.30am.
